We have been fabricating and installing custom elevator cab interiors since 1998. The company was started by Michael and Linda Moran over 20 years ago.

Chesapeake Elevator Interiors, Inc. is located just outside of Annapolis Maryland. We service the Greater Metropolitan area including Maryland, Baltimore, Washington DC and Northern Virginia.

Our Services

Chesapeake Elevator Interiors specializes in custom elevator interior renovation. These services include aesthetic improvements to elevator interior finishes and architectural metal cladding to elevator entrances only. Our services include but are not limited to elevator interior wall panels, ceilings, lighting, flooring, interior cladding, elevator entrance cladding and metal re-finishing. No job is too small for us, we also offer elevator cab interior accessories and aesthetic repair services. Chesapeake Elevator Interiors does not provide routine elevator maintenance services or repairs to the mechanical operation of elevators.

Wall Panels

Fabricated to various shapes and sizes. Finish surfaces may be plastic laminate, hard or soft wood veneers, architectural metals, textured metals, marble or stone, carpet, wall covering, woven wire fabrics or other custom products as long as a Class A fire rating can be maintained.

Flooring

Various materials such as vinyl composition tile, rubber, porcelain, ceramic, stone, marble, aluminum, and carpet.

Repair

Replacement of existing chipped, dented, or damaged finishes.

Ceilings

Constructed with a solid wood core, with the exposed surfaces covered with plastic laminates, architectural metals, or veneers. Typically these ceilings contain low voltage halogen, LED downlighting, or indirect fluorescent lighting. Suspended ceilings may also be constructed in a grid system from architectural metals & contain various styles of lighting diffusers or panels with direct or indirect lighting.

Accessories

Furnished and installed in elevator cabs. These include items such as handrails, certificate frames, protection pads, pad studs, clamps and pad locks.

Cladding

Of new architectural metals over existing surfaces such as cab doors, return walls, jambs, headers, and transoms. We also re-clad lobby elevator entrances, including jambs, doors, and transoms.

Re-finishing

To restore the original grain and luster of architectural metals and wood veneers. Metal surfaces are also protected with clear sealers to prevent the oxidation of copper alloy metals.
